Ben this is great news well done. I got to meet Carlos & Seb on the Papervision team at FOTB09 and found them to be very motivated and talented individuals.

Any progress? As far as I can tell Papervision3d has sort of died. If that’s true, it’s horrible news! Molehill is just around the corner, and Away3D is SLOW!

Personally it’s been quite a while since I’ve done anything with Flash, just moved on to other platforms and projects. I’ll definitely be checking out the MoleHill APIs when I get the chance though.

Im asked to do a 3d flash project, and still knowing most of pv3d ‘like the back of my hand’ i would really like to use it, but yea, its status is to vague to safely use it now. (aka, if i encounter a bug, im screwed)
The reason i am looking for pv3d info is that the new native 3d stuff is just horrible, i did some basic tests and its slower then old (software) pv3d competitors..

I did and did a bunch of prototype work for a new version but grew bored of the then supposed 3D additions to the player (prior to Molehill). It’s been well over a year since I last opened Flash :/ Feel free to mail me at the address above if you have any PV/code questions though.
